Hello!  My name is Cathy Thompson and I am the Treasurer of MDSC. I am here to talk about the membership form which looks like this–2021-2022 MDSC Membership Form. Make a note of the orange highlighter near the top of the form; not yellow or any other colors. It has to be the orange one which is for members who joined in 2019-2020 and during the COVID19 pandemic as well as for those of you who joined during the COVID19 pandemic. Please fill out all the items in the middle of the form. Be sure to write clearly. The bottom part is optional – it is up to you to make a donation to one or more of the MDSC funds. All the information you need to know about paying for the membership and where to mail the form is on the top part of the form above the orange highlighter. Other items that include the meals, holiday luncheon, and special events are put on hold until we get information about the Senior Center reopening.  Once it is open, we will process the payment for the meals. Don’t worry about that part for now.  This new / renewal form is good from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. You can fill out the form anytime during the 2021-2022 year but you must fill out the form and pay for the membership before you can participate in the future events (i.e., workshops, zoom presentations, in-person gathering at the Center, MDSC sponsored trips)  Don’t worry about that part. My concern is your name and key information. Once I receive the form with all the key information about yourself and paid membership fee, you are set for MDSC membership for the 2021-2022 year. I must have your form and membership payment in my book before you can officially join us. See you soon!
